How to Make a Payment Coupon Book
You can make your own payment coupon books for many occasions, including keeping track of money loaned to a friend or loved one. If you're running a small business and decide to offer your best customers credit, you can also use homemade payment coupon books to help make it easier for customers to make and track their payments.

1
Create your coupons. You can try using coupon book templates, such as those found on Kodak.com or create your own coupons in a basic word-processing software. Be sure to include basic information, such as minimum payment amount, due date, account number (if applicable) and where/how they can submit payment. Leave blank spaces for them to fill in their payment amount and date submitted.

2
Print your payment coupon book, using thick, durable paper, such as card stock or even photo stock paper if desired.

3
Cut your coupons down to size. Unless you want an 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch coupon book, you'll need to trim your coupons to the desired size. You can use scissors if you'd like, but if you're planning to send these coupon books to customers, a cutting board will provide a more accurate, polished look, lending a more professional image to your payment coupon books.

4
Create a cover page, if desired. A cover should remind the user what and/or who the coupon book is for and provide any pertinent contact information, so they can reach you if they have questions.
-
5
Put your coupon book together. Stack your coupons in the order you want them to appear and, using your paper hole punch, punch a hole in the side of the coupon book. Then pull the string or metal ring through the holes to keep them together. Another option is to skip the paper hole punch and staple your coupons together. If you go that route, make sure that your staples aren't covering any important information on the coupons.
