How to Create Your Own Blue and Silver Alice in Wonderland Eye Look
"Alice in Wonderland," the timeless children's story-turned major motion picture, serves as the inspiration for this silver and blue eye look. The makeup extends into the crease of the eye in an untidy manner---the way it appears on the character of Alice in the new film. The gentle blue color, and high-gloss shine works best for evening wear, events or a themed costume party. This look flatters every skin tone; however, it may appear less vibrant on extremely pale individuals. Any color of clothing will match well with this makeup. Hair must be worn in a modest way so as not to detract from the eyes. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1
Pat eye primer onto your eyelids with your fingers. Eye primer is a cream or gel product that prevents the creasing of eyeshadow during wear.
-
2
Apply silver eyeshadow with lavender shimmer onto the eyelid and pull it into the crease with the brush. It may appear faint near the crease.
-
-
3
Pat an indigo blue eyeshadow over the silver shadow with a blending brush and gently blend the two colors by sweeping the indigo inward from the outer corner of the eye. Use gentle strokes to prevent color from smearing up to the brow bone.
-
4
Apply white eyeliner to the inner third of the lower lash line.
-
5
Apply highlight powder to the brow bone with a highlighting brush.
-
6
Apply black eyeliner to the outer third of the upper lash line and the entire lower lash line.
-
7
Finish this look with a black mascara. Wiggle the lash wand at the roots of the eyelashes, and continue wiggling the comb as you move up your eyelashes. This will prevent clumping and slightly elongate your eyelashes.
