How to Calculate Date of Death

Save

Scientifically speaking, it is impossible to truly calculate the date on which you will die. However, if you'd like to have some fun, you can check out the Death Clock website online, which claims to give you your exact date of death. If anything, it might give you some perspective about the little time we have here on Earth. But remember: The website is meant purely for entertainment purposes. Don't take what it says seriously.

Things You'll Need

  • Web browser
  • Navigate to the link listed in the Resources section.

  • In the corresponding fields, enter your day, month and year of birth and your gender.

  • Next to Mode, choose Optimistic, Pessimistic, Sadistic, or just keep it at Normal. This affects the Death Clock's answer accordingly. For example, if you put Optimistic in this field, you will be given a longer life than if you choose Sadistic.

  • At the bottom of the website, enter your height and weight and click Check Your BMI. Enter the number it gives you next to the BMI field.

  • Enter your smoking status, and click Check Your Death Clock. A window should pop up telling you when your personal date of death is.

Tips & Warnings

  • Please, don't take this website too seriously! The website is not magic; it is a very crude guessing system and is not in any way scientifically accurate.
