How to Keep the Footer in a Word 2007 Document From Printing
Footers are used to add repetitive text to the bottom of a document. You can apply the footer to some or all your pages without typing the text separately on each page. This can be useful if you're working with multiple pages. Footers save time, and your text appears in the same location on every page, keeping the font, style and layout consistent. Preventing the footer from printing in Word 2007 is a little tricky, but Word's margins can help.
