How to Treat Worms in a Stray Cat

Intestinal worms (parasites) live in the digestive tract of a cat, robbing it of important nutrients that it needs. There are several types of intestinal worms that infect cats such as roundworms, tape worms and whipworms. Stray cats tend to have worms because they lack proper feeding, treatment and care. If a stray cat appears on your doorstep that you would like to rescue, worming the kitty will be one of the first steps you'll take to promote its good health.
