Instructions

    • 1

Fold the black construction paper width-wise. Make a sharp crease in the middle. Set the paper aside.

    • 2

Draw two small apple shapes on the red construction paper. If you are not skilled at drawing just draw two fat circles about 2 inches wide. Cut the apples out with safety scissors. Set the apple shapes aside.

    • 3

Draw four 1-inch-long leaves on the green construction paper. Cut the leaves out with safety scissors. Use the glue stick to glue two leaves on top of each apple.

    • 4

Place the folded black construction paper in front of you. The opening should be facing downward. Glue one apple on the bottom left hand corner and one apple on the bottom right hand corner of the card.

    • 5

Draw with the white crayon on the front of the card. Write the teacher's name or write the words "Thank You."

    • 6

Open the card and write your personal thank you inside the card. Use the teacher's name and tell her specifically why you appreciate her.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take a picture of yourself and print your image on photo paper. Glue your picture on the inside of the card. Your teacher will love seeing your picture in her appreciation card.

  • Embellish the card with some hearts if you like instead of apples.
