How to Send HTML Email with Outlook

The email client Microsoft Outlook lets you choose what type of format you use for outgoing messages. If you are using Microsoft Outlook 2003 or later on a PC with Windows XP or later, you can choose the HTML email format. With HTML email, you can easily add images, links and other elements to your messages before sending them. In order to send HTML email with Outlook, you must first turn on the HTML option through the program's settings.

      Launch the Microsoft Outlook application.

      Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of the window and choose "Options."

      Click on the "Mail Format" tab at the top of the Options window.

      Choose "HTML" from the message format drop-down menu.

      Hit the "OK" button at the bottom of the window to save the settings.

      Click on the "New" button at the top of the screen to compose a new HTML email.
