How to Stop Junk Catalogs
If you are tired of having your mailbox filled with junk catalogs, you can do something about it. In fact, there is a free nonprofit organization called Catalog Choice that focuses on reducing unwanted catalog mailings. By signing up for a free account on their website, you can stop the delivery of junk catalogs to your mailbox. You can also contact catalog companies directly if there is a contact number listed on the junk catalog you received in the mail.

1
Look on the mailing label of any junk catalogs that you receive. Some have a phone number listed that you can call to remove yourself from their mailing list. If you have any catalogs with this number, call it and request to be removed from their mailing list.

Visit the Catalog Choice website listed in the "Resources" section of this article. Click on the "Sign up for a free account" link at the top of the page.

3
Create an account with your name and mailing address. If you have more than one mailing address where you want to stop junk catalog delivery, you will need to create two accounts.
-
4
Find the catalogs that you want to stop and set your preferences for them. You may have to return to this account later and add more catalogs if you cannot remember all of the junk catalogs that you receive. Once you submit your preferences, Catalog Choice contacts the junk catalogs to remove you from the mailing list.
