How to Make a Honey and Melon Daiquiri
A honey and melon daiquiri is a simple twist on a classic party drink. Things You'll Need
- Cocktail shaker with strainer
- Ice cubes
- 3 oz. white rum
- Juice of 3/4 lime
- 1 tsp. Rose's lime juice
- 1/2 oz. melon liqueur
- 1/2 oz. honey liqueur
- Honeydew slice, for garnish
- Lime wedge, for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker three-quarters full of ice cubes.

Add the white rum, fresh lime juice, Rose's lime juice, melon and honey liqueur. Shake gently for about 20 seconds.

Strain the cocktail into a martini glass or short cocktail glass. Garnish with a thin slice of honeydew melon or lime wedge. Serve immediately while cold.

Tips & Warnings
Midori is a common brand of melon liqueur, and Barenjager is a commonly used honey liqueur.
For a fresh variation on this drink, replace the melon liqueur with blackberry liqueur. Increase the fresh lime juice to one whole lime.
Serve honey and melon daiquiris with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream added to them as a special dessert. This dessert is ideal for an outdoor barbecue or pool party where it may be hard to gather people for a traditional dessert.
