How to Make a Spiced Banana Daiquiri

Spiced banana daiquiris are a unique twist on a classic party drink. Things You'll Need

  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • Banana, peeled and chopped
  • 4 oz. spiced rum
  • 2 ½ oz. banana liqueur
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp. Rose's lime juice
  • 2 tsp. caster sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon powder
  • Banana slices or chocolate-covered banana slices

      Combine the crushed ice, peeled banana, spiced rum and banana liqueur in a blender. Cover the blender and process on high power for 45 seconds or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

      Add the fresh lime juice, Rose's lime juice, caster sugar and cinnamon powder. Pulse on low speed for 45 seconds to thoroughly combine the ingredients.

      Transfer the spiced banana daiquiris to martini glasses or short cocktail glasses. Garnish with fresh banana slices or chocolate-covered banana slices.

Tips & Warnings

  • To make a normal banana daiquiri, replace the spiced rum with gold rum and omit the cinnamon.

  • For a different taste, add a tablespoon of butterscotch topping before blending.
