How to Configure XP Home to Share System Folders
Windows XP (and all recent Windows operating systems) gives users the ability to share system folders on a network. This setting can come in very handy in home or work environments where file transfers between computers are necessary (for viewing and/or editing). Users have the ability to set sharing permissions to allow other network users to have read-only permission or full control. The straightforward file sharing interface provided by Windows XP (all editions including XP Home) makes configuring share settings very simple.
