How to Move Songs From One iPod to Another
When exchanging or upgrading your iPod it is important to back up your music; otherwise, you risk losing your play count and ratings during the music transfer. A music copying program reduces the hassle of switching iPods by seamlessly transferring all of your content to your computer, which you can then synch to a new device. Music copying software can be downloaded online and tested for a trial period.
