How to Ask a Girl for Her Number

Asking a girl for her number can be one of the scariest moments in a guy's life. There is no secret science involved in this procedure. You just have to step up and put yourself out there. It all comes down to confidence, and a willingness to fail.

Instructions

1. Don't fear rejection. The worst she can do is say no. You are not being rejected by someone who knows you, but a stranger. Think about that and be confident. It just doesn't matter if she says no.

2. Approach the woman respectfully. Smile and look her directly in the eyes. Introduce yourself, and ask her about herself. Establish a little small talk about something going on around the two of you or something you noticed about her.

3. If the conversation is pleasant, and she does not appear to be bored or angered, ask her for permission to call her sometime later. Simply saying "May I call you sometime" sounds respectful and courteous. It does not sound like a pick-up line that the woman is probably tired of hearing.

4. If the talk establishes you have something in common, use that as an excuse to ask for her number.
