How to Fix a Scratch in a Porcelain Sink
Porcelain sinks are strong and durable. It is not uncommon to find a porcelain sink or tub in an older home that doesn't have a chip or a scratch on it. If you often use your porcelain sink for washing metal pots and pans, cooking utensils and baking dishes, however, you will eventually scratch on the bottom or side of the porcelain sink. If the scratch is really deep, there's not too much you can do other than resurface the sink. If the scratch is just on the surface, you can remove it with a pumice stone. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Make sure the pumice stone is soaking wet, or it too can cause scratches on the porcelain sink rather than repair them.
The pumice stone wears down quickly when smoothing porcelain scratches with it, so make sure to buy several at a time.
If you can't find a pumice stone, sprinkle baking soda on the scratches, and rub them over them with a damp cloth.
Avoid washing your aluminum and metal dishware and utensils in the sink.
