How to Download a Picture From Your Phone to Your Facebook

Facebook is a popular social-networking website that connects friends and family members. Users can create a personal profile, send messages and comments to friends, update status and share photos. Many mobile phones come equipped with texting and Internet capabilities that let individuals update their Facebook profiles on the go. You can take photos on your cell phone and then post them on your Facebook profile, allowing you to share your experiences with your network.

Things You'll Need

  • Mobile phone (with texting capabilities)
  • Facebook account
  • Desktop computer with Internet access)
  • Navigate to Facebook.com/mobile on your phone (if you have a data plan) or from a desktop computer with an Internet connection.

  • Login to your Facebook account.

  • Locate your Facebook personal email under “Upload Photos via Email” at the bottom left side of the page.

  • Navigate to the picture on your mobile phone that you wish to upload to your Facebook account.

  • Select the “Send as Email” or “Email Photo” function from the menu on your phone. A new message box will appear with the selected photo attached in the body.

  • Type your Facebook personal email in the “To” field.

  • Enter a title in the “Subject” field. Text entered in the subject field will appear as the caption of the photo on your Facebook page. Click “Send.” Your photos have now been uploaded to your Facebook profile.
