How to Give Goats Mineral Oil When They Get Into Grain
Goats have a very sensitive digestive system that likes a high amount of fiber and foliage that mainly comes from the forage they consume. A standard meal for goats would be hay and a small amount of grain. If a goat got out and got into a grain bin and ate much more than a pound, it would affect its digestive system and make it bloat, throwing off digestive processes. Mineral oil helps settle a goat's stomach and decreases bloating.

Walk the goat around. If the goat is tame enough, lead it around. If the goat is wilder, chase it around its pen for at least an hour. You don't want the goat to sit down as digestion will slow and bloating will increase.

Massage the stomach area of the goat if it is tame enough.

Tips & Warnings
Do not feed vegetable oil to goats if they've gotten into grain. According to Boer goat rancher Coni Ross, vegetable oil will add to the digestive load of the bloated goat, and can cause more harm than good. Mineral oil is not digestible.
