How to Clean Metal Coated With Brass
Brass is a metal formed from a combination of copper and zinc. With its lustrous gold color, brass is used in many household items. Different cleaning methods are required depending on whether the object is solid brass or if it is brass coated. Do not clean an object coated with brass with the same solutions, polishes or abrasives used for solid brass, because they can deteriorate the finish. Properly clean your brass-coated object using mild detergent and water only. Does this Spark an idea?
