How to Copy DS Game From Computer to DS
There exists on the Internet a slew of games designed by individuals or a small groups of amateur developers. These "home-brew" games are available for most systems, including the Nintendo DS. Unfortunately, these can only be accessed on the PC and so require a third-party device, such as an Edge DS or CycloDS, that allows the games to be played on the Nintendo DS. Using an SD card as an intermediary, your Nintendo will be able to play home-brew DS games.

Insert an SD card into your PC's SD port.

Download the Edge operating system from the Edge website: www.edge-ds.cn/

Transfer the operating system files into your SD card. You can do this by selecting the "my computer" icon on the desktop, selecting the "SD Card" icon, and moving the downloaded files (with the file structure intact) to the SD card's window.

Select your game file, which should have the extension ".nds"; for example, a Super Mario Bros. game would have the file name: "Super Mario Bros.nds"

Move the game file into your SD card window.

Remove the SD card from your PC and place it inside the Edge DS card.

Insert the Edge DS card into the DS and boot up the system.

Select the "Games/Homebrew" option at the DS game's main menu.

Find the game file that you just placed on your SD card and select it. You will begin playing your game.

The CycloDS card can be used instead of the Edge DS card, as it serves the same function using the same methods.
