3
Use the scissors to cut out the two yellow stars. Ensure that you cut off any rough edges with a sharp knife.
-
4
Cut a vertical 1/2 to 2/3 inches long slit on the bottom of each star between two points. Do not cut the star in half, but simply make a straight line. Both slits on each star need to be the same length and cut in the same area.
-
5
Line the stars up together with each slit. Press the stars together so that each slit lines up, and press them together so the stars attach to each other. You may need to make the slit longer to make the two stars become one three-dimensional star.
-
6
Punch a hole in the top of the star ornament. This will allow you to hang it from the Christmas tree. Place the ornament hook through the hole and add it to your tree.
