How to Convert AAC to MP3 & Keep the ID3 Tag
AAC audio format is the default format that is used in iTunes and on iPods. These files may come with an ID3 tag which holds specific information for those particular files, such as artist name, song title and track number. If you convert these AAC files using a standard audio converter, the ID3 tags may not remain with those files. Since AAC files are iTunes files, however, that program can be used to convert the files to MP3 while keeping the ID3 tags attached to those files.
