How to Make Raspberry and Peppermint Shower Gel
Raspberry and peppermint shower gel is a simple, natural shower gel that works just as well as the expensive shower gels that line the shelves of retail stores. Making your own shower gel not only saves you money, but also reduces your exposure to chemicals, additives and preservatives often found in commercial soaps and bathing products. Things You'll Need
- ½ cup liquid castile soap
- 1 cup white wine vinegar
- ½ cup fresh raspberries
- ¼ tsp. peppermint oil
- ½ cup distilled water

Pour the white wine vinegar into a large saucepan and heat over low heat until almost boiling, about 9 to 10 minutes.

Stir in the fresh raspberries and remove from heat. Let the mixture cool to room temperature and strain into a clean saucepan. Discard the raspberries.

Add the liquid castile soap, peppermint oil and distilled water to the saucepan. Stir with a wooden spoon or glass stirrer.

Transfer the raspberry and peppermint shower gel to a clean glass bottle or plastic squeeze bottle.

Tips & Warnings
To use, put a small amount of the shower gel onto a washcloth or loofah and massage gently into the skin. Rinse your skin with warm water and pat dry.
