  • ¼ teaspoon borax powder
  • 1 cup distilled water
  • 1 cup sunflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon grated beeswax

      Combine the borax powder and distilled water in a small heatproof mixing bowl with a wooden spoon or glass stirrer. Heat it in the microwave for one to two minutes.

      Mix the sunflower oil and grated beeswax in a small heatproof container. Microwave on high heat for one to two minutes or until the wax is completely melted.

      Pour the hot water and borax mixture into a blender and process on low speed. With the motor running, add the oil and beeswax mixture slowly. Once the oil has all been added, cover the blender and turn the speed up to high. Add the lavender essential oil and blend for two minutes.
