How to Change Burn Speed on Windows Media Player
Many of the different CD burners available on the market support many different write speeds, which are controlled by your CD burning software. If you are experiencing problems when burning audio CDs, such as failed burns and inaudible successful writes, the CD burner may be trying to work too fast. Often, changing the speed at which your burner records will fix, or at least ameliorate, issues with the burn process. Burn CDs successfully with Windows Media Player by changing the write speed of your CD burner.
