Instructions

    • 1

Place your glass marble bubble on top of the image you wish to use for your pendant. Center your marble over the area of the image you'd like to appear on the finished pendant. Move the bubble around until you find an area of the image that you find most appealing.

    • 2

Trace around the marble with a pen in order to give yourself a solid guide with which to cut out your pendant's image.

    • 3

Cut out your image using small scissors or a craft knife. Take your time cutting out the image as you want the image to perfectly blend with your glass marble.

    • 4

Brush a thin layer of clear dimensional glue on the back of the marble.

    • 5

Press your image onto the glue in order to adhere it to the marble. Squeeze out any excess glue with your thumb. Use a wet wipe to wipe away any excess glue that may spill out onto the sides of the marble. Allow the glue to dry for at least one hour before continuing with the next steps.

    • 6

Glue your flatback bail onto the back of the pendant using your superglue or two-part epoxy glue. Avoid skin contact with the glue as the glue can irritate your skin and be hard to remove. Allow the glue to dry for 12 hours before handling.

    • 7

String your newly finished pendant onto a chain of your choice.

Tips & Warnings

  • Choose photos that you know will compliment the small window of the glass marble. Avoid photos or prints that feature tiny details that might not show up as well due to the small size of the pendant.
