Instructions

    • 1

Fit one scrap of wood along each short edge of the shoebox. Glue the wood to the shoebox and allow the glue to dry before proceeding.

    • 2

Stretch the slinky inside the shoebox so each circular end of the slinky butts up against the wood. If the slinky is too long, it might be necessary to cut it in half with the wire cutter to allow the metal coils of the slinky to stretch out slightly in the shoebox.

    • 3

Use the staple gun to staple the slinky to the wood pieces to hold the slinky in place. Staple the ends of the slinky to the wood in four places to make it secure.

    • 4

Cut 5-inch squares of card stock and place them in between the slinky coils, evenly spacing them every 2 inches along the slinky. These will be the dividers between the coupons so you can organize the coupons by product.

    • 5

Write headings on the card stock. Suggested headings include breakfasts, desserts, cleaners, cereals, snacks and beverages.

    • 6

Place the coupons between the card stock headings, inserting them between the stretched coils of the slinky.
