How to Delete Search Entries on the Google Drop Down

The Google toolbar is a browser add-on that allows you to search for such content as videos, emails and shopping sites from anywhere on the Web. It includes a drop-down search window that keeps a record of all your searches. However, you can protect your privacy and delete this history anytime you want.

      Find the Google toolbar at the top of your browser window.

      Click the drop-down arrow next to the Google toolbar search window to view your search history. Scroll down the search history list and click the "Clear History" button to erase your search history.

      If you do not want Google to remember your searches, click the drop-down arrow on the Google toolbar "Search" button. Select "Manage." Click the "Search" link on the left panel and uncheck the "Store Search History on My Computer" checkbox. Click "OK" to save the changes.
