How to Stop Receiving Junk Mail by Registry
It seems that getting junk mail from companies trying to sell you products you do not want is a fact of life. Most of the mail you receive are offers about goods you would never use, services you would never need, or from stores about which you don't care. However, many of these companies get your address from an agency known as DirectMail, which offers a Do Not Mail registry to help reduce the amount of junk you get. Does this Spark an idea?

Point your browser to the Directmail website.

Scroll down on the website until you see a form asking for information

Enter the information requested in the form, such as your name, address, phone number and email address.

Press the "Continue and Submit Online" button. This sends a verification email to the email address you provided.

Go to the email address to which you sent the email, and click on the link to remove your name from the junk mailing lists.

Tips & Warnings
Don't expect an immediate drop in mail. It may take several weeks for you to see a reduction in junk mail.
This will not completely rid your mailbox of junk mail, but it will get rid of a good amount of it.
