How to Rotate LCD on Lenovo Laptop

The Lenovo laptops by IBM have convenient touch screens that allow you to draw and write with a digitizer pen. To make that an easy task, the LCD display can rotate around into a tablet position. Rotating the screen is easy to do, which makes the whole setup user friendly, and the heavy duty hinge lets you do it without worrying about wear or snapping.

Instructions

    • 1

Pull the latch holding the screen closed on the front of the laptop to the right and lift the screen to a ninety degree angle.

    • 2

Twist the screen so that the left side goes back and the right side comes forward. Turn it so the screen faces completely backwards. Make sure the bottom of the screen is flush with the edge of the keyboard.

    • 3

Lay the screen back on top of the keyboard and press the screen until it latches closed, so the computer goes into tablet mode. Some Lenovo laptops have touch screens that only work in tablet mode, while others work in both tablet and notebook mode.

    • 4

Slide the latch on the front of the tablet to the right and lift the screen to a ninety degree angle with the LCD facing away from you.

    • 5

Push the right side back and pull the left side forward to bring the display around again into notebook mode. Make sure the bottom of the display is even with the edge of the keyboard. Pull the top of the screen to the front of the laptop, and press it down to latch it closed.
