How to Open MHT Files

An .mht file is a file that some web browsers produce when you use their "Save page" functionality, containing both the web page and all the associated media files. Since plain .html web pages contain only the text of the page with links to images and other media, .mht files are a handy way to archive web pages. The main way to create and open these files is Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser, though they can also be created and opened using the alternative browser Opera.
