Looking to get a tan outside of your home, or even on the beach? A self tan is a wonderful way to make your complexion more natural and allow you to even look thinner. You can get a fast tan by spraying on products, but you are more likely to look artificially streaked. Before you run to the beach to go get a tan outside, you should always exfoliate first. This is done by taking a scrubby and lathering up. This will give you a more natural looking tan. The best way to get a good exfoliation is by getting shower gel with grains in them. Microdermabrasion works quickly in terms of exfoliating before a self tan.

You can still get a tan fast without baby oil. Replace this with Sunscreen lotion instead. It should have an SPF of 15 or more to protect you from the dangerous rays of the sun. If you don't use sun screen, you may end up with dark spots all over your body when you are older.

To get a perfect tan, always balance both sides. This means that you should stay in the sun on your back for at least 15 minutes and turn around once the time is up to lie on your stomach. If you do this, you can get a fast tan in 30 minutes only! It's definitely quick, protective, and you'll feel great afterwards. Make sure you bring a watch though to time yourself.

Still striding to get a tan? While it is good to stay in the sun for an hour, be sure not to stay in high temperatures for more than three hours or this could give you bad sun burn. Always make sure you start out slow with 15 minutes a day to thirty, and so on.
