First you will need the router itself in front of you along with a paperclip. On the bottom of the router you will see a small hole with the word reset by it. It may or may not have the word reset. You are basically looking for a small hole that has a button in it.

Stick the paperclip in the small hole and depress the button for at least 10 seconds. You will notice all the lights will flash on the router. You have just performed a hard reset on the router. Note that this will erase any current settings on the router.

After the router is done rebooting, pull up your internet browser and type in the ip address to your router. Belkin IP addresses are usually 192.168.2.1. You will then be able to access the router's settings. Note that once you reset the router there is no factory password, just leave the password entry blank and click submit.
