Tips & Warnings
According to an article by Steven Kotler of FOX News, hangers can be made of seven different types of plastic and the machines at recycling centers are not equipped to separate the different plastics. Sadly, items that cannot be processed by the machines often end up in the local landfill. Even if you put the hangers in the recycling bin, they are likely to end up at the dump.
