Decide what kind of style you want use for your vampire Halloween costume. Pick out an outfit that matches that style. A basic outfit for men is black shoes, black slacks and a button-down shirt in white or red. A basic outfit for women is high heels and a dress in black or red.

Put on your vampire Halloween costume. Roll up any sleeves, and unbutton any collars to prevent smears on your clothes when you apply the vampire makeup. Stick paper towels around the neckline of your top to avoid getting makeup on your costume.

Pull and secure your hair away from your face. Smear the white face paint over your face, neck and arms lightly. Cover any other exposed areas of flesh with the white paint, such as the shoulders, legs or chest. Check in the mirror to make sure your have a light and even layer of white over every inch of skin.
