How to Delete Windows Tracking History

Sometimes people might be tempted to sift through the history of the websites you have visited on your computer. Windows tracks the websites you've visited and stores temporary files and cookies. To get rid of unwanted tracking issues and preserve your privacy, you only need to follow a few easy steps.

      Click on "Tools" on the toolbar of your Windows browser toward the top of your computer screen.

      Select "Delete Browsing History" from the menu.

      Select the types of information you'd like to erase. The options include temporary Internet files, cookies, history, form data and passwords. You also can opt to erase all tracking by clicking "Delete All" at the bottom of the window.

      Click "Yes" when asked if you are sure you want to clear the history.
