How to Reset Options in Mozilla Firefox 2

Mozilla Firefox is one of the more popular web browsers out there. It enables you to run browser add-ons and applications that let you browse the Internet easily for your favorite content. To ensure that your browser works well, you can customize the options (preferences). However, if your browser is running into frequent problems, you can reset the settings, and restore them back to default status.

      Click on the "File" menu, and select "Exit" to exit Firefox.

      Click on the Windows "Start" button, and click on "All Programs." Scroll up, and click on the "Mozilla Firefox" folder. Click on "Firefox (Safe Mode)." Firefox Safe Mode allows you to reset Firefox options and preferences to the default settings.

      Click on the "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" option, and click on the "Make Changes and Restart" button. Firefox Safe Mode restores the original default settings.
