How to Calibrate a Wacom Tablet
Wacom bridges the gap between physical drawing and graphic design by offering specially designed tablets that display your actual computer screen's picture and allow you to "draw" right on top of it. This is accomplished through two separate layers on the display, a video layer, and a touch layer that accommodates the Wacom grip pen. Because of this separation of layers, depending on your viewing angle, the tip of the pen may not match perfectly with the cursor. If this is the case, the display and pen can be calibrated to help create a more true match between screen and pen. This calibration should be undertaken under normal working conditions to provide the best calibration.
Instructions

1
Open the "Wacom Tablet Properties" dialog. On a Mac, this can be found by going to "System Preferences" and clicking on the Wacom Tablet icon. On a Windows PC, go to the Start menu, select "All Programs," choose "Wacom Tablet" and select "Wacom Tablet Properties."
-
2
Select "Grip Pen" from the "Tool" list, and click the "Calibration" tab.
-
-
3
Select the display you wish to calibrate for from the monitor dialog. Click the "Calibrate" button. The screen will go blank and display a cross-hair in the upper left-hand corner.
-
4
Touch the center of the cross-hair with the tip of the pen. The cross-hair will jump to the lower right-hand corner. Calibration is heavily dependent on viewing angle, so be sure to complete this process while seated in a typical working position.
-
5
Touch the second cross-hair while maintaining the same position and viewing angle as the first. This will insure the calibration will be correct across the entire area of the screen.

Tips & Warnings
The calibration process is quick and simple, so repeat as many times as necessary to obtain a good match between pen point and cursor.
Remember the tip of the cursor is still the point on the screen that is doing the actual drawing and editing, so if there is a poor match between your pen tip and cursor, your ability to accurately translate pen movements to the screen will decrease.
