How to Create a Holiday Card Using a Logo
The holidays are an ideal time to get in touch with your customers to thank them for their business and encourage them to return to your company. One of the easiest ways to reach out to your customers is with a holiday card, which can be easily personalized. When creating a holiday card for your business, consider using your logo on the card. This will not only reinforce your brand identity, but also help your holiday cards stand apart from the rest.

1
Select the overall theme for your holiday card. The most traditional holiday card involves images of Christmas, although a variety of other options are available. In some cases, you may choose to use a non-denominational card that does not reference any particular religious holiday. It is important to select the overall theme first, as this will be the foundation of your card; all other card features will stem from this theme.

Design the front of the card by incorporating your logo into a holiday image or saying. For example, decorate the front of the card with an image of a large snowflake or Christmas ornament. Place your logo inside the image. Or use big block letters to write "Happy Holidays" across the front of the card and place your logo inside the middle of the "O" in "Holidays." You could even use your logo as the main image for the card by enlarging it and centering it on the front of the card. Write a holiday-themed saying underneath the logo, such as "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings." For extra holiday style, color your logo in holiday colors, such as red and green. If possible, consider gathering your staff for a holiday picture. Arrange everyone around a large image of your logo, which might be found on the office wall or outdoor sign. Use the photograph as the front of your holiday card; it not only makes the card more personal, but also focuses on your company's logo.

Write a brief holiday greeting for the inside of the card. This section should aim to not only wish your customers a happy holiday season, but also thank them for their business. If your company will be going through any big changes over the next year, you might include this news in your holiday card. You may also want to include a special offer for your customers during the holiday season.

Add subtle design to the inside of your holiday card, but keep it simple so as not to detract from the sentiments. Ideas include a simple border around the edge of the card or a few simple snowflakes scattered throughout the space. Incorporate a small version of your logo into the inside of the card. Consider placing the logo near one of the corners or placing it inside a snowflake.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid using your logo with garish designs. Understated is typically best when it comes to cards used in business.
