Instructions

    • 1

Pick up one side of the snow blower. Slide a block of wood under the axle. Pick up the other side and slide a block under the axle. This will allow you to take the tires off with ease.

    • 2

Unscrew the bolts holding the tire onto the axle. Remove the tire from the axle.

    • 3

Unscrew the air cap on the tire. Push the air valve to the side to release the air pressure in the tire.

    • 4

Slide the flathead screwdriver between the snow blower tire and rim. Push the screwdriver handle in toward the rim to pry the tire off. Do this around the entire inner circumference of the tire. Flip the tire over and finish pushing the tire off the rim with your hands.

    • 5

Lay the rim flat. Place the new tire on the rim. Kneel onto the rim to force the tire to slide on. Slide the screwdriver between the snow blower tire and rim. Push the screwdriver handle out toward the tire to pry the tire onto the rim.

    • 6

Wrap the strap around the outside tread of the snow blower. Ratchet the strap tight until the tire walls bow out. This will allow the tire to seal to the inner rim when you put air in the tire. Inflate the tire to the correct psi. Remove the ratchet strap.

    • 7

Place the tire back on the axle. Bolt it back into place.

    • 8

Repeat steps 2 through 7 on the other tire.
