How to Add Integers to Smartboard

The Smartboard is an interactive whiteboard used for educational and business presentations. The Smartboard setup consists of a freestanding or wall-mounted whiteboard, a projector, and computer with Smartboard software and touch screen capability. Integers on the Smartboard can be drawn with your finger, the Smart Pen Tray, or with an interactive pen (if supplied with your Smartboard). The Smartboard can translate your pen or finger movements to integers in many common applications, including Microsoft Word.

  • The best position for Smartboard readings is to have your fingers at right angles to the screen.

  • Change pen colors by picking up a different colored pen.

  • Loose clothing (like flapping cuffs) can trigger inaccurate Smatboard responses. For best results, don't wear baggy clothing or loose bracelets on your writing hand.
