How to Make an Analog PC TV Tuner Work After the Switch
If you have an analog TV tuner connected to your computer, you most likely have realized it no longer works now that all television broadcasts are digital. However, this does not mean you can no longer use your analog TV converter. You just need to treat the tuner as an analog television. An analog television can still view TV programming as long as a converter box is connected to it.

1
Connect the source of the TV signal to the "In" port on the converter box. This can be an antenna or cable outlet. If you access your television programming via cable or satellite receiver, you do not need a converter box and can connect the receiver directly to the TV tuner.
-
2
Plug a coaxial cable into the "Out" port on the converter box. Make sure the cable is properly attached to the port to ensure a secure connection.

3
Run the other end of the cable to your PC TV tuner and connect it to the video port.

4
Power on the converter box. Open the software you have installed on your computer that allows you to view TV. The signal travels from your antenna or cable through the converter box and into the analog TV tuner on your computer. You can now continue browsing and using the computer as a TV, just as you had before the switch to digital.
