      Get an empty five-gallon bucket, or a five-gallon bucket, which you can empty, the contents.

      Clean the empty bucket and check for any cracks, which could be a sign the bucket isn't strong or sturdy and should not be used as a seat.

      Attach a non-slip pad to a kitchen chair cushion with fabric glue. This will help keep the cushion from slipping.

      Turn the bucket upside down and place the cushion on top.
