How to Use My iPod to Read Email
With an iPod Touch, you can check and read email messages from multiple accounts or mailboxes. In order to read e-mail on your iPod Touch, your device's Wi-Fi must be turned on and connected to an active wireless network. The iPod Touch can connect to most typical types of email accounts, including POP and IMAP. Reading email on your iPod does not interrupt music playback.
