How to Download iTunes to a Digital MP3 Player

Open iTunes and create playlists of the MP3 songs you want to download onto your iTunes-compatible digital MP3 player.

Connect the iTunes-compatible digital MP3 player to your computer using a USB cable. iTunes will prompt you to name the new device for future reference. iTunes will remember your device every time you connect it and display the name you have given.

Decide which playlists you would like to sync to your iTunes-compatible digital MP3 player. Select the playlists--or even individual files--you want to download from the "Music" tab on the device's menu screen.

Press the "Sync" button in the bottom right corner of the device's menu screen to download your selected iTunes songs onto your digital MP3 player.

Tips & Warnings
• Check the "Automatically sync when this device is connected" box in the menu screen's "Summary" tab if you want iTunes to send new playlist files to your iTunes-compatible MP3 player every time you connect. Follow this same procedure if you want to remove deleted files from your iTunes-compatible MP3 player.
