How to Install Wireless Router

I will explain to you very simply and easily how to install any wireless Router. You can use this information for any wireless router. In very easy steps you will be on your way with your router.

Things You'll Need

• Internet Modem
• Installation CD
• Computer

Instructions

1. First you must shutdown your computer and disconnect your Internet modem. Unplug the ethernet cable from the network adapter on your computer.

2. Take the ethernet cable you disconnected and put it into the wireless router that is marked "Internet". It will be on the back of the router.

3. Plug the ethernet cable into the router that is marked "1" (It will right next to the LAN 2 slot).

4. Take the other end of the ethernet cable and plug it right into the computer network adapter.

5. Finally turn the power on the router and start up your computer. Install the Cd that came with your router and there you go. You have fully installed your router without any hassle.

Tips & Warnings

• Keep your wireless router away from your network modem by at least 3 feet.

• You can link your router to your printer. Also other electronics such as other PC or gaming consoles.

• Add a password to your router.
