How to Uninstall a Spysubtract Trend Micro
SpySubtract is an anti-spyware tool created by Trend Micro (see References 1). This program operates on PC systems from Windows 98 on up (see References 1). If you have downloaded SpySubtract onto your computer but now wish to use a different anti-spyware tool, consider uninstalling SpySubtract. The uninstallation procedure is not complex; it generally follows other software uninstall procedures that you may already be familiar with.

Click "Start," then open your Control Panel and select the "Add/Remove Programs" option.

Scroll down the list of programs until you find SpySubtract. Click on SpySubtract and choose "Uninstall." Follow the instructions on screen.

Close all open programs and visit esupport.trendmicro.com on your Internet browser. At the site, click on the line to download the TMAS_&_SpySubtract_Remover.exe (see References 2). Download the file.

Run TMAS_&_SpySubtract_Remover.exe. This should remove any desktop icons and display a window indicating that Trend Micro Anti-Spyware/Spy Subtract has been removed (see References 2).

Clear your browser cache and restart your computer for the uninstall changes to take effect (see References 2).
