How to Compress Image Size in Photoshop

Compressing image size in Photoshop is typically done when it is necessary to reduce the overall file size. The amount of compression needed for individual images can very greatly depending on the intended use of the file. While image quality is inherently reduced with compression, achieving desired balance of size and quality can be done within the “Save As...” feature in the Photoshop program.
