How to Install a Time Warner HD Cable Converter

To get the full benefit of HD, you need a set-top box to convert regular cable signal to an HD signal. The HD cable converter box is very easy to install, and you can do it yourself if your Time Warner Cable technician is not available right away.

Tips & Warnings
If you use higher-quality HDMI connections, simply plug the HDMI cord to the back of the converter box, and then to the HDMI 1 port on the back of your HDTV. Wait for your box to boot. When you turn on your TV, push the "TV/Video" button on your remote and from the options list on the screen, select "HDMI."
Do not interrupt the converter box while it is booting up. Interfering with this process may require you to start over again. It can take a few minutes, so be patient.
