How to Download YouTube Videos With RealPlayer
Every now and then there are videos on YouTube that you wish you had saved on your computer that you can watch anytime. RealPlayer SP allows you to download YouTube and other videos right from your Internet browser while on the site. It is much easier than other methods that were required to download YouTube videos. RealPlayer SP or RealPlayer 11 places a button above the YouTube video that you can click to download the video. After setting up your RealPlayer, you can be downloading videos in just a few minutes.

Download the RealPlayer SP for Windows or RealPlayer 11 for Linux and Mac systems (see Resources section). RealPlayer is a free download, but you can purchase the full version if you desire. You do not need the paid version to be able to download YouTube videos.

Double-click on the installation file. Go to the folder that you saved the RealPlayer installation file to start the installation wizard.

Choose the option to "Enable browser download button" on the first screen of the installation wizard and click "Next." Continue to process through the screens of the wizard and wait for RealPlayer to be installed on your computer. A dialog box will appear asking if RealPlayer can close your browser windows if you currently have them open. Click "Yes," or else the button won't be installed properly.

Finish the installation wizard and open your browser. Go to YouTube website and start the video that you want to download.

Point your mouse button in the top, right side of the video window to see the "Download This Video" button appear on top of it. Click this button to start downloading the video.
