How to Get English Back on Webkinz

Webkinz is a virtual pet game that allows users to adopt and care for pets in an online world. The game is a virtual counterpart to plush Webkinz toys sold in retail stores. Plush toys are accompanied by a code that allows owners to create an online version of their plush Webkinz toys (see Resources for a virtual tour). The game is open to international players and is offered in 14 languages. If the site appears in a language other than English, you can change the default language settings back to English from the main page.

Instructions

1. Open the Webkinz website in your preferred web browser (see Resources for a direct link to the home page). You do not need to be logged in to change the language preferences for the site.

2. Locate the globe icon in the upper right side of the page. Click on the link to the right of the globe icon. The words next to the globe translate to "Select Language." A new web page will open.

3. Click on "English," which is the first option in the left column. You will be redirected to the Webkinz homepage, which will now appear in English.
