This makes the music accessible on a global level, but downloading music works best when download speeds are high. If your music is downloading unreasonably slowly, there are several tricks to improve the download rate.

Eliminate the router from your network setup - if you have one - and connect your computer directly to the Internet source. Then replace your coaxial, Ethernet, and/or phone cables one at a time to identify any cables that are failing.

Have your Internet provider send a specialist to test your modem if your downloads are still slow after this process. You may have a modem that is bad or not compatible with the provider, or the provider may have an outage. Using FTP, clearing your cache, updating drivers, and using a high speed port all are additional things to check if the professional doesn't find problem.
